Kremlin Condemns Zelenskiy’s Energy Facility Proposal as Dangerous Step

On December 10, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is working toward sustainable peace in Ukraine — not a temporary truce — in direct response to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s proposal for mutual abandonment of attacks on energy facilities.

Peskov condemned Zelenskiy’s initiative as reckless and dangerous, asserting that it jeopardizes any prospect of lasting peace by targeting critical infrastructure without ensuring civilian safety or robust security measures.
