Kerala Temple Elephant Goes Wild, Kills Driver in Uncontrollable Attack

In the Indian state of Kerala, an elephant that had been on temple grounds became uncontrollable and killed a man. Local reports indicate that the animal attacked parked cars, overturned them multiple times, and seriously damaged motorcycles nearby.

The incident occurred in the village of Kidangur. Local reports state that the truck driver lost his life as a result of the attack, while an elephant handler sustained serious injuries.

Specialists from the Forest Department and elephant control personnel were deployed to stabilize the situation. It took approximately two hours for authorities to neutralize the animal. After being tranquilized, the elephant exhibited increased aggression and damaged another vehicle.
