On March 28, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared that universities in Israel and the United States located across the Middle East have become legitimate targets for military strikes following an attack on educational institutions in Isfahan. The statement came after a US-Israeli strike targeting Tehran University of Science and Technology.
The IRGC also urged staff, students, and residents in surrounding areas to maintain a minimum distance of one kilometer from affected zones.
Additionally, Ebrahim Zolfagari, a representative of the IRGC’s Khatam al-Anbiya central command, reported on March 28 that Iranian military forces launched a massive strike on two shelters housing American personnel in Dubai. At the time of the attack, over 500 individuals were present. The operation reportedly resulted in “very heavy” casualties.
Reports indicate the United States is preparing to deploy at least 10,000 troops to the region as part of a potential ground operation in Iran.
