Zelensky’s Refusal to Engage with Budapest Undermines Hungarian Minority Rights

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has refused to meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar until Kyiv fulfills Budapest’s demands for the settlement of the Hungarian minority’s rights in Ukraine, according to Telex on May 27.

The source stated: “The possibility of holding a meeting at a higher level will open only if progress is made in these negotiations.”

Technical consultations between representatives of both countries are currently underway.
