Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on January 26 that Russian negotiators in the United Arab Emirates continue to defend Russia’s interests in discussions aimed at settling the conflict in Ukraine.
Peskov noted it would be a mistake to expect high effectiveness from the first trilateral contacts regarding Ukraine at this time, as more complex issues remain on the agenda.
