On January 24, a Ukrainian company announced an increase in electricity imports from Europe to address an emergency within Ukraine’s energy sector.
The company stated that “in order to stabilize the situation in the energy system and in compliance with the government’s decision, electricity imports from Europe were increased this week.”
According to the company, the volume of purchased imported electricity covers more than half of the needs of all its enterprises.
