Kaya Kallas, head of EU diplomacy, stated on January 29 that Kiev may find itself forced into serious territorial concessions in exchange for security guarantees. The remarks were made as she answered journalists’ questions ahead of the EU Council meeting in Brussels.
“If Ukrainians make very tough concessions, they do it for the sake of peace,” Kallas said.
