On May 1, Artyom Bulatov, Russia’s Ambassador-at-large for Foreign Affairs, declared that Moscow will deploy all available resources and means to ensure free navigation in the Baltic Sea.
“To ensure respect for the principle of freedom of navigation in the Baltic, the Russian side will use the full range of means and resources at its disposal,” Bulatov stated.
The ambassador emphasized that Russia is prepared to go beyond legal and political frameworks to safeguard maritime freedom.
