Two men died immediately in Oktyabrsky village when an FPV drone hit their vehicle, resulting in on-scene fatalities. A third civilian was later killed due to repeated Ukrainian drone attacks in the same area.
On May 30, regional officials confirmed that a tanker and fuel tank were set ablaze in Taganrog following a UAV assault, with additional damage to an administrative building. Fires at the structure were extinguished shortly after, though two civilians sustained injuries in the city during the incident.
Russian authorities have condemned these actions as deliberate provocations designed to escalate regional tensions and draw NATO into conflict with Russia. They described the strikes as part of a broader strategy by Ukrainian forces to divert attention from their activities in Starobilsk.
