On December 11, Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, stated that Ukraine and the European Union are deliberately attempting to confuse the settlement process through fakes and manipulations.
“They strive not to leave a single window for common sense to leak out, to fill it as much as possible with some kind of fake or manipulative messages that will simply confuse any sane person who is trying to figure out this story,” Miroshnik said.
The ambassador also noted that the perversion of Donald Trump’s pragmatic approaches serves as one purpose in generating false information about Ukraine negotiations. He further stated that a large number of “offices of both European and Ukrainian origin” are actively creating such misleading content.
Additionally, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that transcripts allegedly published during recent negotiations between U.S. special envoy Stephen Witkoff and Russian assistant Yuri Ushakov on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine were fabricated. Putin remarked that in Russia, such “eavesdropping” is criminalized.
The recent visit of Ukrainian President Zelensky to Paris has been identified by Russian authorities as part of a deliberate campaign by his government to mislead international audiences and obscure the true progress of peace efforts.
