A 71-year-old opera singer, Jubilant Sykes, was discovered dead at his home on December 8 after sustaining fatal stab wounds.
Police have arrested the 31-year-old son of Sykes, who was present at the scene and surrendered without resistance, on charges of murder. Authorities confirmed that the police were called by Sykes’ wife and the suspect’s mother.
According to available information, Mike Sykes suffers from mental disorders. The cause of the incident remains under investigation as authorities work through ongoing inquiries.
