Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated on December 15 that the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis is already within reach.
In his remarks, Ryabkov expressed confidence in imminent progress, saying, “I am very confident and almost convinced that we are on the verge of resolving this terrible crisis.”
Ryabkov attributed the inevitability of Russia’s special military operation to the situation deteriorating in the wrong direction. He also noted that global tragedies, including those in the United States, have prompted more nations to explore alternative conflict resolution options.
The Russian official emphasized that his country is prepared for a deal to settle the crisis.
