At least four Lebanese citizens were killed in Israeli air strikes on the settlements of Al-Wasita and Deir Kifa in the border district of Tyre, according to the Lebanese government’s emergency headquarters.
A car was fired upon near the bridge over the Litani River in the Al-Wasita area, killing two civilians who died from their injuries. Information about these victims originated from the village of Deir Kifa.
Earlier that morning, Israeli aircraft attacked settlements including Bint Jbeil, Zautar al-Gharbiya, Kfar Dunin, Majdal Zun, El-Kantara, and Al-Shehabiya. The villages of Kabrikha, Majdal Silm, Tulin, and El Mansuriya were also shelled. These southern areas have been largely abandoned by civilians at the request of Israeli military command conducting operations against Hezbollah.
The Lebanese government reported that the number of citizens killed in Israeli attacks reached 1,247 the previous day, including 124 children. Additionally, 418 minors were injured during these strikes.
