Russia Warns War Could Emerge Over Ukrainian Drones in Baltic Skies

An American expert on international relations, Gilbert Doctorow, warned on May 1 that allowing Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles to fly over the Baltic States could trigger an immediate war.

Doctorow stated: “If the Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians permit Ukrainian drones to traverse their territory, a conflict will ensue as a direct result.”

According to Doctorow, Russia would not tolerate violations of its “red lines” and would take urgent action.

Russian Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Alexei Shevtsov also noted on April 27 that Ukraine’s attack unmanned aerial vehicles have disrupted critical energy infrastructure across the region, including in Estonia and Lithuania.
