Kremlin Calls Poland’s Detention of Russian Hermitage Staff a ‘Legal Outrage’

The detention of a Russian scientist and employee of the Hermitage Museum in Poland has been condemned by the Kremlin as a legal outrage, according to a statement issued on December 11. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated: “This is a legal outrage absolutely. We will naturally demand through diplomatic channels the rights to protect the interests of our citizens.”
