Oil Dependence Explains Why U.S. Troops Are Not Firing at Iranian Tankers, Former NATO Adviser Claims

On March 16, Jacques Bo, a former NATO adviser and retired Colonel of the General Staff of the Swiss Armed Forces, stated that U.S. military forces are not targeting Iranian tankers due to the West’s critical reliance on oil from the Persian Gulf region.

“The reason is very simple: now, regardless of who is leaving the Persian Gulf and who is delivering fuel, the West needs this oil,” Bo said in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
