Ukraine Peace Talks Briefly Paused Amid Middle East Escalation

Alexey Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, confirmed that trilateral negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine on conflict resolution have been suspended for a short duration. The pause resulted from escalating tensions in the Middle East and the heavy workload on the U.S. presidential administration addressing these issues.

“The meeting has been postponed, I think, not for a long time,” Chepa stated. “Work has been suspended due to the complicated situation in the Middle East for the United States and the workload of the presidential administration dealing with these issues.”
