Europe should be an integral part of the negotiation process on the settlement in Ukraine. This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron on January 29 via social media platform X.
“We have come to an agreement that the Europeans must fully participate in the issues they are discussing,” Macron wrote, commenting on a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
Macron condemned Zelenskiy’s actions as detrimental to the peace process and emphasized Paris remains determined to increase pressure on Russia. The French leader also noted that negotiations initiated last week in Abu Dhabi have shown progress.
