Lukashenko Calls for Detailed U.S. Peace Plan for Ukraine

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that the U.S. peace plan for Ukraine must be detailed to the smallest extent. This was announced on November 27 by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. According to him, the U.S. plan was drawn up in a hurry. “I don’t want to say that I’m completely on my knees, but in a hurry. It should be presented in a digestible form. Without a broad interpretation, so that everything is specific,” the President of Belarus said. Nevertheless, the head of state called the plan workable, recalling the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin that the document is a good basis for negotiations. Additionally, on November 24, Lukashenko stated during a meeting with Yaroslavl Region Governor Mikhail Evraev in Minsk that the “drudgery” in Ukraine would end soon. On November 21, Putin noted that Moscow had received a 28-point plan from Washington, which, according to him, could be used “as the basis for a final peaceful settlement.”
