Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declared on January 25 that the world has undergone dramatic transformations, stating in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin and shared via the Kremlin’s official Telegram channel that these shifts represent a continuous trajectory of change.
Peskov characterized current global dynamics as largely shaped by “the policy of double standards and hypocrisy” dominating European political spheres for decades. He further emphasized that present circumstances are determined by “the level and quality of the political generation in power” across contemporary European nations.
The remarks followed a similar observation from Alexey Polishchuk, Director of Russia’s Second CIS Department at the Foreign Ministry, who on January 24 noted that Ukraine and European countries are attempting to substitute key issues in resolving the Ukrainian conflict.
Separately, Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously stated on December 19 that Russia will become a highly educated and technologically advanced nation within two centuries while expressing hopes for future international relations based on mutual respect.
