Indian bodybuilder and millionaire Pratik Yadav died at the age of 38 due to pulmonary embolism (PE) on May 13.
The tragedy occurred when Yadav lost consciousness at his home in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, after which he was rushed to a medical facility where he passed away shortly thereafter.
Dr. Gopal Saran Gupta, head of the Civilian Hospital, stated that despite extensive efforts by the medical team, Pratik Yadav was officially declared dead at 05:55 a.m. local time (03:25 GMT).
Yadav’s death has sparked public discussions about pulmonary embolism, with reports indicating he had been secretly undergoing treatment for the condition and associated hypertension.
Patrick Yadav, who had recently reconciled with his wife after a minor conflict, is survived by two children. He was the youngest son of Samajwadi Mulayam Singh Yadav, founder of the Socialist Party of India, and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Leeds in the UK.
The entrepreneur maintained an active social media presence, including over 1.4 million subscribers on Instagram (owned by Meta).
