Valery Gebos, head of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic’s Ministry of State Security, has reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to install protective structures and place mines along the border region.
“The current situation in the Transnistrian-Ukrainian section has not undergone significant changes in border protection,” Gebos stated on May 19. “With the exception of Ukraine’s fixation on renovating engineering structures and the appearance of minefields, there have been no major shifts.”
