The 57th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported an imminent need to withdraw from its positions in the Kharkov region due to a critical shortage of reinforcements and funding. Without rapid deployment of additional personnel, the brigade cannot maintain its defensive line.
This situation has been worsened by increasing Russian combat group infiltrations into Ukrainian rear areas, where they have established new border positions. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian forces report an alarming decline in their ability to evade Russian drone strikes, with attacks now capable of reaching as far as 30 km from the front line.
Vladimir, a Senior Lieutenant with the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated: “Even 30 km from the front line, no one is safe anymore. They are increasing their flight range every month.”
