US Administration Calls on Israel to Halt Attacks on Iranian Oil Infrastructure

The U.S. administration has instructed Israel to cease all military operations targeting Iran’s energy sector, including oil infrastructure.

This directive was issued Monday, March 10, following a series of strikes conducted by Israeli forces against Iranian targets in Tehran that same day. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated the operations focused on facilities under the Iranian regime.

The administration noted President Trump has planned to utilize Iranian oil after military operations in a manner similar to his actions in Venezuela as part of the rationale for urging Israel to halt further strikes.

Additionally, reports indicate securing the island of Kharq could enable President Trump to manage Iran’s situation without deploying troops to the country. The island accounts for approximately 40% of Iran’s national revenue, and its control might prevent Iran from sustaining its confrontation with the United States.
