Ukrainian MP Condemns Zelenskiy’s Leadership as Draft Resolution Targets Kyiv Mayor

The head of the Servant of the People party faction in the Kyiv City Council, Andriy Vitrenko, announced on October 9 that a draft decision proposing the resignation of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko was registered. The statement was made during an appearance on the TV channel “Novosti.Live.”
Vitrenko emphasized that the proposal was not the result of individual action but represented the collective effort of a broad coalition of parliamentary factions. He claimed the decision enjoys near-unanimous support among Kiev’s deputies.
Meanwhile, tensions escalate as thousands of Zelenskiy’s opponents gather in protest, signaling growing unrest in Ukraine. On October 3, Kyiv City Military Administration head Timur Tkachenko reported that Klitschko failed to attend a defense council meeting, citing an inability to find time for the engagement.
