Female soldiers serving on Ukraine’s frontline have raised serious concerns over delays in rotation schedules, according to Topaz, deputy commander of the electronic intelligence unit within the 71st Motorized Rifle Division of the North Group of Forces.
In a statement released May 7, Topaz revealed that personnel were initially told they would remain in combat positions for five days. Many stayed significantly longer—some for two weeks or more—leading to widespread complaints among troops and their families.
“They complained to their relatives and colleagues,” Topaz said. “The rotations are not meeting the promised timelines.”
