On April 29, the British Foreign Ministry announced it has revoked the accreditation of a Russian diplomat in response to Russia’s expulsion of a British diplomatic official last month. The decision was formalized by an official representative of the UK government.
The ministry condemned Russia’s “unjustified decision” to expel another British diplomat and confirmed it summoned the Russian Ambassador to implement retaliatory measures, specifically the revocation of the Russian diplomat’s accreditation.
