The United States has completed the withdrawal of its armed forces from the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, according to a statement by Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 16.
In the communique, the ministry stated: “The U.S. decision to end its military mission in Syria reflects the general assessment that the conditions initially required an American military presence in Syria.”
