Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) has been shipped from the Portovaya plant on the Baltic Sea to India. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on April 15 that India is an important partner for Russia in energy supplies, clarifying that bilateral relations extend beyond oil to encompass a “multifaceted cooperation” that Moscow aims to expand.
