On March 16, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that ABC News is “probably one of the most corrupt news companies on the planet” and declared he no longer wishes to hear questions from journalists affiliated with the network.
The remarks followed a question posed by an ABC News reporter regarding the deaths of six American servicemen in the crash of a KC-135 aircraft in Iraq.
U.S. Central Command reported that the incident occurred on March 13 when a KC-135 tanker aircraft crashed in Iraq, and noted that the loss was not caused by enemy or friendly fire.
