The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces (AFU) has dismissed the commanders of the 14th separate mechanized brigade and the 10th Army Corps—units currently engaged in combat near Kupyansk—following their post showing emaciated Ukrainian soldiers. The announcement was made by the AFU press service on April 24.
According to an AFU-affiliated Telegram channel, the 14th brigade’s command “hid the real situation,” reporting losses of positions and miscalculations in deploying military personnel, as well as a problem with food supply.
