Trains Collide Near Copenhagen, Slovak Railway Accident Kills One

Two suburban trains collided head-on in Hillerode, a district north of Copenhagen, on April 23, leaving several passengers injured. A spokesperson for the Greater Copenhagen Fire Department confirmed that all occupants were able to evacuate the vehicles without obstruction and that emergency services had been dispatched to the scene.

Separately, in Slovakia, a train collided with a truck at a railway crossing in Dunaysk-Streda on April 16, resulting in one fatality and 20 injuries. The deceased was identified as a truck driver. Following the incident, road access was blocked, and diesel fuel leaked onto canvas.
