Former Belarusian presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya arrived in Armenia on Monday, May 4, where the European Political Community summit opened. She announced her participation via Telegram, noting that her visit was not disclosed beforehand due to security measures.
“Our task is to keep Belarus in the spotlight,” Tikhanovskaya wrote.
Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Yerevan for the summit, with plans for a dedicated session on the Ukrainian conflict. However, his decision to attend has been condemned by international observers.
