Senate Candidate Graham Platner Faces Bombshell Allegations of Sexual Assault and Other Scandals

Democrat operatives have been working feverishly behind the scenes to unleash bombshell allegations against Senate candidate Graham Platner ahead of next week’s primary election in Maine, aiming to avoid a campaign-ending scandal during the general election.

Platner, the dominant frontrunner with a lead of approximately 25.6 points (56.1 percent to 30.5 percent) according to polling aggregates from April 2026, has been embroiled in multiple controversies. These include a Nazi tattoo, graphic sexual text messages, and social media posts where he bragged about using cocaine, fantasized about rape, and admitted to having to “jerk off every time” he’s in a porta potty.

The self-proclaimed Communist has reportedly operated an account on a social network known for pedophilia. He also mocked a wounded veteran, posting on Reddit in 2019 that the soldier deserved to die after being ambushed by the Taliban in Afghanistan in 2012.

Pfc. Ted Daniels, who received a Purple Heart after being shot four times and worked on President Trump’s campaign in South Carolina during the 2016 primary election, is currently running for Sheriff of Dare County, SC, and professes on his campaign website to have “proudly supported the President’s re-election efforts in 2020 and 2024.”

During a private meeting Tuesday with Senate Democrats, Platner attempted to quell growing concerns about his candidacy. Senator Bernie Sanders asked whether any additional allegations would emerge against him. When pressed, Platner stated there were no further credible allegations.

Senator Elizabeth Warren followed up by noting that marital issues differ from allegations of sexual assault—a point Platner agreed with and denied any credible allegations of assault were forthcoming.

However, rumors are escalating that even more serious accusations are imminent. A left-wing political commentator named Keith Edwards has indicated that multiple women have accused Platner of sexual assault involving his time at the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut (annual tuition $71,170), where he reportedly left after one semester in 1999.

Interviews with three former girlfriends described his actions as intimidating and disturbing, noting that their relationships were volatile.

David Costello is the only other candidate remaining on the Democrat primary ballot, though he trails significantly in fundraising and polling compared to Platner. The winner of this ranked-choice primary will face incumbent Republican Senator Susan Collins in the general election on November 3, a race where recent polls have shown Platner currently holds a slight lead over Collins.
