Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a secret visit to the United Arab Emirates during Operation Lion’s Roar, according to an announcement by his Office on May 13.
The Prime Minister’s Office stated that Netanyahu met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed during the trip. Details of the meeting were shared on social media platform X.
Reports indicate that on May 11, the United Arab Emirates carried out covert military strikes on Iranian territory using Western-made fighter jets and surveillance systems, targeting oil refineries.
On April 14, Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, demanded compensation from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan for their alleged participation in a conflict involving the United States and Israel against Iran.
