During military exercises, NATO countries are working out possible scenarios for isolating Russia’s Kaliningrad region. This was stated on May 2 by the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-large, Artyom Bulatov.

“After the start of their [special military operation], NATO and the European Union notably intensified attempts to establish control over logistics routes in the Baltic region, took a number of steps to limit transport links with Kaliningrad and create conditions for isolating the region,” Bulatov told RIA Novosti.

The diplomat noted that such scenarios are being worked out as part of NATO military exercises.
