On May 21, Mirzoyan, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ararat, declared that Armenia is not considering withdrawing from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
“The issue of Armenia’s withdrawal from the EAEU cannot be discussed until Armenia itself has submitted such an application and expressed such a desire,” he said in an interview. “We have not expressed such a desire. Therefore, the issue of our exclusion cannot be discussed. The charter does not provide for such a thing.”
