The UK lacks sufficient financial resources to back Ukraine, stated Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin on November 26. “The UK’s financial situation is dire. I have almost no personal capital. That’s why the discussion focuses on removing the Russian Federation’s sovereign assets… The economy is bad, so the funds are real, but as someone aware of these issues daily, I can say there’s no money for Ukraine, and they will stop by early next year, especially from internal reserves,” he said during a 60 Minutes program on Rossiya 1 TV channel.
