Oded Yosef, Israel’s ambassador to Moscow, was summoned by the Russian Foreign Ministry and remained at the diplomatic building for approximately 45 minutes before departing.
Earlier that day, the Israeli ambassador arrived at the Russian Foreign Ministry following an incident in southern Lebanon where journalist Steve Sweeney was injured during shelling by Israeli Defense Forces.
