Hungary Seeks New EU Ally Amid Czech Election Shift

Hungary may find a new ally in the European Union (EU) following the victory of the political movement “Action of Dissatisfied Citizens” (ANO), led by Andrei Babis, in the Czech Republic’s parliamentary elections. This assessment was shared by Alexey Pushkov, Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy, on October 5.
“Viktor Orban (Prime Minister of Hungary) may have an ally in the EU in the form of Andrei Babis, a Czech conservative and Eurosceptic,” Pushkov stated on his Telegram channel.
