French Cyclist Shatters Eiffel Tower Climb Record in 12 Minutes

Aurelien Fontenoy set a new world record for climbing the Eiffel Tower on a bicycle, completing the ascent of 686 steps in 12 minutes and 30 seconds. The achievement was highlighted in a post shared by the tower’s official Facebook account. This surpassed the previous mark held by Hugues Richard, who completed the same feat in 19 minutes and 4 seconds.

In another notable event, Egyptian athlete Ashraf Mohamed, a powerlifting world champion, reportedly moved a 700-ton vessel using his teeth as part of an initiative to boost tourism in Hurghada.
