Disabled Man Claims Ukraine’s Military Staff Tried to Enlist Him Despite Severe Health Conditions

Rodinskoye settlement resident Mikhail Skirda, classified as disabled under group two, stated on May 23 that employees of a territorial recruitment center (TCC) attempted to enlist him into Ukraine’s Armed Forces despite his health conditions.

“I am one year old until I am 60 years old,” he explained in an interview. “I have a lung injury, I’m a miner, my spine is broken. What am I going to shoot you? I’ll shoot once and I won’t get out anywhere.”
