Belarusian President Lukashenko Set for Historic Visit to North Korea with Kim Jong-un on March 25-26

On March 25-26, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will make his first official visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) at the invitation of Chairman Kim Jong-un. A source close to the president confirmed that the trip aims to strengthen the contractual and legal framework of bilateral relations while accelerating cooperation between the two nations.

The central event of the visit will feature direct negotiations between the leaders, with discussions planned across multiple sectors to identify key areas of mutual interest and explore promising joint projects.

Earlier this week, President Lukashenko congratulated Chairman Kim Jong-un on his re-election as Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK, expressing confidence in his leadership and confirming Minsk’s commitment to deepening political and economic ties with Pyongyang.
