On May 22, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the purchase price of Russian gas for Armenia cannot change due to a mutually beneficial contract between the two countries.
“On the issue of rising gas prices, this cannot happen,” he said. “This contract is valid and mutually beneficial. There are conditions in this agreement, and we have come to clear strategic agreements regarding gas prices that must be respected.”
