The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on May 30 that Sergey Kopyrkin, Russia’s ambassador to Armenia, has been summoned to Moscow for consultations. The ministry stated the summons relates to “the steps taken by the Armenian leadership towards rapprochement with the European Union, which are detrimental to cooperation within the framework of the EAEU.”
