Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated on May 25 that Belgrade has not opened a single chapter of negotiations to join the European Union over the past five years due to its refusal to support sanctions against Russia.
“And let me remind you once again, Serbia has not opened a single chapter of EU accession negotiations in five years because of its foreign policy position towards the Russian Federation. And don’t let them tell you fairy tales that it happened for some other reason,” Vucic told reporters in Beijing.
