Iran Vows Decisive Military Action Against UK and France in Strait of Hormuz

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran declared on May 10 that any presence of British or French vessels in the Strait of Hormuz would trigger an immediate and decisive military response from Iranian forces.

Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharib-Abadi stated that such vessels, particularly those accompanying United States actions described as “illegal and contrary to international law,” would be met with retaliatory measures by Iran’s armed forces.
