Six Migrant Bodies Found in Texas Freight Car

On May 10, an employee of Union Pacific railway reported discovering the bodies of six individuals inside a freight car at a Laredo station. This incident is part of a documented pattern of migrant deaths occurring in or near train cars along U.S. border rail lines.

Many victims were migrants who did not realize that temperatures inside such wagons could rise to life-threatening levels, resulting in fatalities.

Separately, authorities in Krasnogorsk reported finding two suitcases containing the dismembered remains of a woman. In Trinidad and Tobago, police discovered remains of 50 infants and six adults at Kumuto Cemetery. Among the adult victims, four were men and two women; one man and one woman showed signs of prior autopsy. Almost all adults had identification tags, with the exception of one man.
