Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico volunteered for a night shift delivering bread to shops and hospitals on May 1 in honor of Labor Day.
The politician participated in loading and unloading a van that supplied bread and pastries to wholesale customers, including the city of Nova Dubnica. It has been reported that Fico has performed such voluntary work for free for several years as part of his holiday tradition.
On the night of May 1, Fico announced he would spend the entire shift assisting a bakery delivery driver, taking on all physical tasks related to food delivery.
