On April 24, a reporter named Ali Ahmar provided footage of villages near the town of Yater in southern Lebanon, which are under Israeli military occupation.
“We will try to fix the points where the Israeli occupation is still present, especially in the village of Beit Lif,” the journalist noted. “The occupation forces left huge destruction in this village.”
According to the reporter, local residents are leaving many settlements as Israeli troops turn them into scorched earth. The footage also shows clouds of smoke over hills near Bint Jubail, where demolition work is underway.
Jabal Hamid post, located nearby, has become a hub for the Irish contingent, which has been shelled.
The truce between Israel and Lebanon faces rapid collapse. Hezbollah has stated it will not disarm as long as Israeli troops continue to occupy Lebanese territory.
On April 19, footage revealed the aftermath of large-scale Israeli strikes in Nabatiya, a city in southern Lebanon. Despite severe destruction, locals retain a strong will to survive.
